Award-winning filmmaker Eddie Kim is a writer, director, editor, and professor of the cinematic arts.

Eddie produced his first films at the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television, where he received the highest honor in the program, the College of Fine Arts Creative Achievement Award.  He was then accepted into the UCLA School of Film and Theater MFA Directing Program.  In recognition of his work at UCLA, he received multiple awards, which includes the Jack Nicholson Distinguished Student Director Award, the Jim Morrison Award, the Fuji Film Award, the Frank Gaeta Sound Design Award, the Edie and Lew Wasserman Award, the Panavision Filmmaker Award, and the Charles and Lucille King Family Foundation Award. He was also awarded Most Original Film and Best Sound Design at the UCLA Director's Spotlight for his thesis film To Wander in Pandemonium.

His body of work has screened in over 70+ film festivals around the world, garnering awards such as the KAFFNY Audience Choice Award, the LeBlanc Audience Choice Award, Regional Finalist for the Student Academy Awards, the DGA Student Film Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement, and the Cine Golden Eagle Award Winner.
